Mr. Abdulgalil Besher is the Managing Director of MENA Glass, a privately owned group with investments in the Beverage and Packaging sectors in the MENA region. Since the 1970s his focus has always been on the potential opportunities in said industry and he steered the Group to be a leader in this field.
Mr. Abdulgalil was the Chairman of Coca-Cola Egypt, and currently chairs Coca-Cola Libya and Coca-Cola Yemen; during his leadership, each Entity has grown to be a market leader in most of their respected markets.
He is the Chairman of Middle East Glass Manufacturing Company (MEG), a company listed in the Egyptian Stock Exchange, and which is the leading supplier of glass containers in the food and beverage sector in the region.
Additionally, Mr. Abdulgalil is an active member of the German-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and holds several other directorships and advisory positions.
