Peter Carpenter

Mr. Carpenter was appointed to the Board of Directors of Middle East Glass in 2002.
He started his career with a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants in Sydney in 1974 after graduating from the University of NSW and was admitted to the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 1977.
After spending 4 years as an audit manager with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell (now KPMG) in the Solomon Islands, London and Kuwait he joined the parent group of MEG in 1980 as Financial Controller and is currently the MAC Beverages Group CFO.
He has extensive experience in financial and operations management in Egypt and the region, and is actively engaged in the execution of the business strategy of the parent group.
He is also a Director of Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Egypt and Sana’a Beverages in Yemen.
